Dear Martin and Members of the Selection Committee,
Every now and then, an opportunity comes along and captivates people from all corners of our company. The Greyhound Development has inspired such creativity and buzz within Turner, so we are thrilled to be a part of your dream. We are motivated and invested in making your ideas a reality.
As soon as we learned about the project, we knew it was something chic, iconic, and transformational for downtown Denver—a project that would change our great city for generations to come. It’s no wonder, given the amazing resources brought together to form the GoRo 1055 team, and we are very compelled to join you.
We will bring you every last bit of institutional high-rise knowledge and capability within Turner. That knowledge will come from all corners of the globe—locally, domestically, and internationally—to find solutions to this very sophisticated enterprise. Every member of the Turner team is fully committed to supporting your success. We are 100% committed to delivering the highest quality team that will play an integral part in solving all future challenges, whether it be supply chain, schedule, constructability, budget, or otherwise.
Our approach is to bring innovation and expertise to the Denver market which are truly unique. We believe that best way to meet the challenging schedule is to utilize a hybrid top-down building technique, which will prove to be both expeditious and cost-effective at the same time. This approach will save six plus months in time compared to a traditional build. We also plan to incorporate a deep bench of design professionals from our Turner Engineering Group to assist in bringing ideas and solutions to the team. Given that material and equipment procurement have become a global problem, we will bring strategic sourcing solutions through world-wide relationships and leverage so that all supply chain issues are mitigated. Lastly, we are prepared to bring innovative ideas such as a design-build approach for the exterior skin which would reduce the overall risk for GoRo and the project itself.
To that end, we are honored to be invited to showcase our capabilities and we ask that you strongly consider adding Turner to your GoRo 1055 team. You would gain a partner who will be absolutely invested in being a part of the solution.
Thank-you,
Aaron Wiebelhaus
